Job Summary
Drive vehicles through Auction lanes on sale days, moving vehicles to and from customer dealerships while observing safety rules and demonstrating defensive driving principles. Line up and park cars in the correct order as directed, locate lost vehicles, and assist with getting vehicles operating by inflating tires or jump-starting them using a battery box and air tank. Notify supervisors of inoperative vehicles or out-of-gas situations and actively support safety activities and customer needs. Perform other duties as assigned by management during the Mon/Tues 8am-4pm shift.
Required Qualifications
- Valid driver's license
- Must be able to lift 1-15 pounds
- Close, distance and color vision
- Depth perception
- Ability to adjust focus
- Must be authorized to work in the United States for any employer without current or future sponsorship
- Must clear a pre-employment drug test
- Must be available for Day shift (Mon/Tues 8am - 4pm)
- Must work at a specified Cox location (No remote option)
- Must be able to enter and exit vehicles constantly
- Must be able to sit for prolonged periods of time
- Must be able to walk long distances
- Must be able to stand, walk, reach, talk and hear
- Must be able to stoop, kneel, crouch, bend, squat and climb
Desired Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Ability to drive vehicles with standard and automatic transmission
- Previous auction experience
