Job Summary
Provide safe, timely, and professional transportation for residents to clinical services, employment, appointments, and approved activities. Conduct routine vehicle safety checks, maintain vehicle cleanliness, and accurately track mileage and trip logs. Follow all traffic laws, agency policies, and safety protocols while monitoring for behavioral issues and reporting concerns to supervisors. Uphold professional boundaries and maintain confidentiality of resident information in accordance with HIPAA and 42 CFR Part 2. Communicate scheduling needs, delays, or incidents promptly to staff. This part-time, onsite role supports the recovery program's structure within Dayton, OH. Drivers must hold a valid Ohio license, CPR/First Aid certification, and demonstrate comfort working with both adult and youth residents in a trauma-informed environment.
Required Qualifications
- High School diploma or GED
- Valid Ohio driver's license with a clean driving record
- CPR and First Aid certification
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screen
Desired Qualifications
- Minimum of one year of professional or program-related driving experience
- Basic understanding of substance use and mental health treatment environments
- Working knowledge of HIPAA and 42 CFR Part 2 confidentiality requirements
- Ability to obtain CPR and First Aid certification within a designated timeframe
