Job Summary
As a Butler Plus team member, perform nightly doorstep trash and recycling collection at multifamily communities, using the assigned trash tote or cart to collect bagged trash from resident doorsteps, and transport it with an open-bed pickup truck or cart to on-site dumpsters or chute rooms. Duties may include porter service, bulk item hauling, pet station waste removal, pressure washing, compactor clean-up, and light cleanliness tasks. Maintain daily communication with a supervisor, work quietly to minimize resident disturbance, and adhere to Butler Plus core values. Training is provided. Schedule available Sunday through Thursday evenings, 8:00pm until finish (approximately 2–3 hours). Minimum physical requirements include lifting up to 25 lbs, climbing stairs, outdoor work, and owning a vehicle suitable for on-property use. Employment is contingent upon a pre-employment background check and clean driving history.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Customer service experience is a plus
- Own an open bed pickup truck (required at most properties)
- Valid driver’s license and auto insurance in your name or listed as an authorized driver on the insurance
- Cell phone (Smart Phone) to download and use the company's app
- Ability to work independently
- Ability to lift up to 25 lbs and climb stairs
- Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions
