Job Summary
Collect bagged trash and cardboard from apartment doorsteps and transport it to the on-site compactor using your open-bed pickup truck or tow vehicle with utility trailer. Service one or more nearby apartment communities during your shift, walking the grounds, climbing stairs, and working outdoors. Use our mobile app to check in, track your work, and take photos when needed. This role offers a consistent evening schedule, typically 10 hours per week from Sunday to Thursday starting at 7:00PM, with pay rates of $21 per hour for truck owners or $18 per hour for those using a tow vehicle. You must own the required vehicle, hold a valid driver's license, and be 18 years or older. Valet Living serves 2 million+ homes nationwide as a leading amenity-services provider.
Required Qualifications
- Own either (1) an open-bed pickup truck or (2) a vehicle paired with an open utility trailer used for the job
- Valid driver's license
- Reliable transportation
- Active auto insurance for the vehicle being used
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- Smartphone with a data plan to download and use our work app
- Willingness to receive SMS/text communications throughout the pre-employment process and employment
- Authorized to work in the U.S.
- Ability to work independently
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs
- Ability to walk long distances
- Ability to climb multiple flights of stairs
- Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions
