Job Summary
Bathe, brush, blow-out, and de-shed dogs while maintaining area sanitation and organization. Identify potential medical issues and report them to clinical staff. Communicate professionally with owners to understand their needs while prioritizing animal safety. Lift 50lbs+ and demonstrate familiarity with breeds and behavior. Provide regular on-site presence to support patient care and respond to time-sensitive needs. Required Qualifications
- Ability to bathe, brush, blow-out, and de-shed
- Confident in bathing with minimal supervision or direction
- Communicating professionally and effectively with dog owners
- Keeping area sanitized and organized
- Identifying potential medical issues and bringing them to the attention of the technician staff
- Understanding owners wants/needs
- Maintaining safety of dog above all
- Affection for animals
- Superior customer service skills
- Must have the ability to lift 50lbs+
- Familiarity with dogs, dog breeds and dog behavior
- This position requires regular on-site presence
