Job Summary
Load and unload freight in a productive, safe, and claims-free manner while maximizing space, as dock workers do not operate inside a warehouse. Complete pre and post trip inspections on all dock equipment and properly document all freight control processes. Participate in company training and improvement programs while adhering to operational procedures contained in the Driver/Dockworker Manual. Be available for irregular work schedules, alternating shifts, and assignments. Requires 18 years of age, basic math skills, fluency in English, and ability to pass a drug screen. Physical demands include operating forklifts, ascending and descending from equipment, and handling freight with regular use of scanners and computer systems.
