Job Summary
Load and unload freight in a productive, safe, and claims-free manner while maximizing space when dock workers do not work inside a warehouse. Complete pre and post trip inspections on all dock equipment and properly document all freight control processes. Participate in training and improvement programs while adhering to operational procedures contained in the Dayton Freight Driver/Dockworker Manual. Be available for irregular work schedules, alternating shifts, and assignments. This part-time role begins Monday through Friday at 4:30 AM and includes a starting pay of $23.95 per hour with a 401(k) plan and company match.
Required Qualifications
- 18 years of age
- Basic math skills
- Fluent in English
- Able to pass a drug screen
- Be available for irregular work schedules, alternating work shifts and/or assignments
- Ascending and descending from forklifts
- Operating forklifts
