Job Summary
Load and unload freight in a productive, safe, and claims-free manner while maximizing space, as dock workers do not operate inside a warehouse. Complete pre and post trip inspections on all dock equipment and properly document all freight control processes. Participate in Dayton Freight's training and improvement programs and adhere to operational procedures contained in the Driver/Dockworker Manual. Be available for irregular work schedules, alternating shifts, and assignments. Requires 18 years of age, basic math skills, fluency in English, ability to pass a drug screen, and legal eligibility to work in the United States.
