Job Summary
Perform general cleaning duties in the kitchen, including washing equipment for meals, cleaning pots, pans, and utensils, and emptying garbage to the dumpster. Operate dishwashing machinery safely and assist in removing soiled dishes during meal service. Maintain a clean work environment by ensuring chemical dispensers are functional and supplies are adequate, while using safety equipment to meet OSHA standards. Participate in all scheduled in-service training and ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations. Deliver excellent customer service to staff and residents.
Required Qualifications
- Ability to follow written and verbal instructions
- Must be able to operate in a fast paced environment
Desired Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED preferred
- Prior service and/or kitchen experience preferred
