Job Summary
Conduct intensive personal care, including showering and restroom assistance, while supervising individuals to maintain independence. Act as an advocate and role model by supporting participants in making choices about goals, activities, and daily life. Observe strengths and opportunities to help develop personal plans, then encourage meaningful social interactions outside the community through recreation, spiritual activities, and family functions. Complete required billing documentation, follow written plans, and attend team and one-on-one meetings. Maintain all certifications and policies while driving Springbrook vehicles as needed.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Must be able to lift 50 lbs. independently and assist in lifting weights exceeding 50 lbs.
- Meet the requirements to drive Springbrook vehicles as required
- Valid Driver's License
- Be able to perform all physical interventions.
- Be punctual and dependable; Regular staff attendance is vital
- Follow all written plans, learning materials, and goals
- Obtain and maintain all applicable training, certifications, and knowledge of policies and procedures
- Attend team meetings and 1:1 meetings with supervisor
