Job Summary
Assess patients' nutritional status and develop individualized nutrition plans based on medical history and current health needs. Provide education and counseling to patients and families regarding proper nutrition and lifestyle changes. Collaborate with healthcare teams to implement clinical protocols and monitor patient progress to modify nutrition plans as required. Stay current with latest research in clinical nutrition. This role supports rehabilitation care for patients recovering from stroke, brain injuries, and spinal cord injuries at Baylor Inpatient Rehab in Frisco, TX. Schedule includes Fridays and rotating weekends with additional hours available based on business needs.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's or master's degree in nutrition or a related field
- Registered Dietitian (RD) certification
- Licensed Dietitian status in Texas or able to obtain within 6 months of hire

- At least one year of clinical experience
- Strong leadership, interpersonal, and communication skills
- Ability to work collaboratively and effectively with interdisciplinary healthcare teams
