Job Summary
Provide direct hemodialysis care, perform assessments, administer medications, and educate patients on renal health and self-care. Supervise dialysis technicians, delegate tasks, and ensure compliance with clinical standards and state/federal regulations. Monitor patient response to treatment, adjust plans as needed, and maintain accurate electronic medical records. Collaborate with physicians and the healthcare team to coordinate care and report critical lab results. Requires a current RN license, one year of nursing experience, three months of dialysis experience, and BLS certification. Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited school of Nursing
- Current State appropriate or Compact RN License
- Minimum of one (1) year of nursing experience in any practice area
- Minimum of three (3) months of Dialysis experience
- BLS Provider certification
- Successful completion of the Ishihara Color Blindness Test
- Ability to lift up to 25 lbs
- Strong focus and attention to detail
