Job Summary
Provide direct hemodialysis care, perform assessments, administer medications, and educate patients on renal health and self-care. Supervise dialysis technicians, delegate tasks, and ensure compliance with clinical standards while monitoring patient responses to adjust treatment plans. Collaborate with physicians to coordinate care, report critical lab results, and maintain accurate electronic medical records. This role requires a current State or Compact RN license with at least one year of nursing experience and three months of dialysis experience. Schedule includes a minimum of two days per week Monday through Friday and two Saturdays monthly.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited school of Nursing
- Current State appropriate or Compact RN License
- Minimum of one (1) year of nursing experience in any practice area
- Minimum of three (3) months of Dialysis experience
- BLS Provider certification
- Successful completion of the Ishihara Color Blindness Test
- Ability to lift up to 25 lbs
- Strong focus and attention to detail
