Job Summary
Part-time Design Studio Specialist/Home Stylist responsible for guiding customers through in-store and in-home design discussions, creating design plans, and driving sales. Responsibilities include one-on-one consultations, measuring living spaces, presenting design concepts, promoting promotions, and providing specialized services (gift wrap, registry, catalog/internet orders, special orders, back orders, courier deliveries, and furniture orders). Requires strong communication, clienteling, ability to handle large orders across sales channels, and physical mobility on the sales floor with lifting up to 75 lbs. Weekend and two weekday availability required for part-time role; opportunity to leverage design expertise to enhance customers’ living spaces and maintain knowledge of promotions. Role does not sponsor immigration and is not eligible for relocation assistance.
Required Qualifications
- 1-2 years of customer service and retail sales experience
- experience in design preferred but not required
- strong communication and clienteling skills
- ability to complete and coordinate complex large orders
- must be mobile on the sales floor and able to lift up to 75 lbs.
- open availability for part-time weekend shifts (and two weekdays) as needed
