Job Summary
Provide comprehensive dental examinations and diagnosis using advanced medical imaging, then perform procedures including restorations, extractions, root canal therapy, implants, and oral surgeries with precision. Develop individualized treatment plans based on thorough patient assessments and ensure strict compliance with HIPAA regulations and state healthcare policies. Maintain accurate medical documentation, uphold infection control protocols, and collaborate with team members using four-handed dentistry techniques. Communicate effectively with patients to explain diagnoses and post-treatment care instructions while staying current with advancements in general dentistry and other specialties through ongoing education.
Required Qualifications
- Valid state dental license with eligibility for part-time practice
- Proven experience in general dentistry within a dental clinic or office setting
- Strong knowledge of dental terminology, medical terminology, and anatomy relevant to oral health
- Proficiency in performing dental extractions, implants, endodontics (including root canals), prosthodontics, and oral surgery procedures
- Familiarity with infection control standards and aseptic techniques essential for safe practice
- Ability to communicate clearly and compassionately with patients of all ages, including pediatric populations
- Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and state healthcare laws governing dental practice operations
- Experience with medical imaging technology used for diagnosis and treatment planning
- Commitment to providing exceptional patient care while adhering to all healthcare regulations and ethical standards
- Must be available for part-time practice
