Job Summary
Provide customers with exceptional product knowledge and friendly service in a Meijer store environment. Duties include building rapport with customers, answering questions, stocking products and maintaining displays to merchandising standards, using technology to complete tasks, and following safety and sanitation procedures to ensure quality service in departments including Meat, Seafood, Bakery, Deli, and Grocery. Must stay calm in a fast-paced setting, communicate effectively, and work as part of a collaborative team to support community-focused service. Eligible for weekly pay, education assistance, parental leave, and development programs as part of the Meijer team culture.
Required Qualifications
- Prior experience in retail or deli environment preferred
- Ability to lift, stand for long periods
- Willingness to learn and follow procedures
