Job Summary
Teach up to 3–5 students simultaneously in-person, following GradePower Learning methodologies and philosophies. Fill in post-lesson notes and complete daily student communication updates while maintaining a friendly and professional manner. Work morning hours Monday–Thursday, 9:45am–12:45pm, with specifics on daily attendance discussed during the interview. Applicants must commute to the St. Petersburg location, as this is an in-person role requiring a background check.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or similar certification in a relevant field
- Good knowledge of the current 1st–8th grade curriculum
- Some experience teaching/tutoring at an elementary to middle school (1st–8th grade or equivalent) level
- Strong English written and oral communication skills, with the ability to guide students' understanding
- Ability to multitask and balance working with up to 5 students at a time
- Must be able to commute to our St. Petersburg location
- This is not an online position
- Background check screening is mandatory
- Applicants must live in or within a short commute of the St. Petersburg area
Desired Qualifications
- University students with tutoring experience will be considered
