Job Summary
Monitor live game and program video feeds for commercial breaks, comparing source video to digital distribution while listening for break instructions. Perform as a primary or backup operator to insert ad cues during breaks, calculate durations, and follow program guides. Report delivery anomalies immediately and generate performance metrics as directed. Conduct application and system testing of ad delivery tools. This remote part-time role supports the NFL Digital Media Team's live video distribution environment, requiring high punctuality and availability for Sunday and peak game day shifts.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma; GED or equivalency
- Proven experience working with computers in an office environment
- Basic working knowledge of Microsoft Windows Applications (Word, Excel, PP, Outlook) in PC or MAC
- Working knowledge of email, slack and web browsers in PC or MAC
- Proficiency with a variety of mobile (iOS, Android) and Connected TV Devices (FireTV/AppleTV/Roku/AppleTV) as used in a testing or development environment
- Must be extremely organized and detail-oriented with the ability to follow through on multi-step instructions
- General availability for Sunday and other peak event Game Days during the NFL Football season
- Punctuality is must for this position
- Must be available for 4 hour (min) to 8 hour (max) shifts on NFL Gamedays (Monday, Thursday, Sunday) and holidays where schedule applies (Thanksgiving, etc.)
Desired Qualifications
- Bachelors, or Associate degree preferred
- Prior experience working for the NFL
- Previous experience working in live TV/broadcast environments (production, stage, etc.)
- Availability on non-Game Days a consideration
- Availability for occasional in-office work is a consideration
- Passionate sports-fan, knowledgeable about football (preferred not required)
