Job Summary
Provide excellent customer service to members and participants while assisting with facility, event, and program activities including set-up, duty assignment, supervision, and take-down. Ensure a safe environment for all participants and manage the daily open and close of the facility. Adhere strictly to City of Conroe and Center policies and procedures. This role requires experienced staff supervision, cash handling, and a high school diploma or equivalent. Starting salary is $13.65 hourly for a part-time position. The City of Conroe offers an employee assistance program and free membership at the City's pool and recreation center facilities.
Required Qualifications
- Experienced in staff supervision
- Experience in delivery of recreation programs and/or services to the public
- Cash handling
- Excellent communication skills
- Minimum age of 18 years old
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum of one year of experience in a leadership role
- Ability to obtain relevant certifications
- Ability to exert up to 40 pounds of force occasionally
- Ability to exert up to 30 pounds of force frequently
- Ability to exert up to 10 pounds of force constantly
