Job Summary
Effectively communicate and offer ancillary products and services to enhance the customer's travel experience while maximizing revenue through vehicle upsells, fuel options, and damage waivers. Convert phone shops to reservations and rentals by actively soliciting business after every rate quote and addressing customer objections. Create a positive service experience by listening to customer needs, engaging professionally, and assisting with post-rental inquiries regarding billing and the rental process. Work flexible shifts including weekends, holidays, and overtime in a fast-paced environment, standing for long periods and operating outdoors in all weather conditions. Requires a valid driver's license, ability to drive vehicles, and 1-2 years of customer service and sales experience.
Required Qualifications
- Valid driver's license with record in good standing
- Ability to drive and operate vehicles
- Fluency in English
- 1-2 years of customer service and sales experience
- Work flexible shifts including weekends and holidays
- Work overtime as required
- Work outdoors during all weather conditions
- Stand for long periods of time
- Applicant must possess all auditory, speaking and communicating capabilities necessary to complete the responsibilities detailed above
- Essential functions include: sitting, standing, walking, bending and twisting, climbing, driving, pushing and pulling, speaking, hearing, writing, lifting, typing, filing, seeing, reading and the ability to use a computer, telephone, calculator, copy machine and fax machine
