Job Summary
Handle a high volume of incoming calls ensuring customer service quality, efficiency, and accuracy by resolving issues, determining needs, and closing sales while maintaining accurate customer records. Maintain in-depth knowledge of Suburban Propane products, billing processes, and delivery policies to present a professional image and develop trusting relationships. Utilize a proactive sales approach to uncover additional opportunities and effectively manage account data, including setting up new accounts. This part-time position offers approximately 20 hours per week with competitive pay and annual incentive potential.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in a customer service role
- Solid computer skills including Microsoft Office, data entry and the ability to run and analyze reports
- Ability to multi-task and prioritize assignments in a team environment
- Must be able to lift 50 lbs
Desired Qualifications
- Minimum of a High School diploma or GED preferred
