Job Summary
Prepare, print, and organize documentation for terminal operations and dispatch while maintaining accurate filing systems for shipments. Bundle and distribute paperwork for outbound shipments, reviewing load documents to ensure accuracy before dispatch. Handle inbound calls and emails to provide timely resolution, and arrange dock pickups and drops in coordination with operations staff. Provide assistance to internal and external drivers for the line haul department, identifying process issues to prevent delays. Works Monday through Friday from 13:00-17:00 at a terminal office environment with occasional warehouse exposure.
Required Qualifications
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- High school diploma or GED
- Authorized to work in the United States
- Read, write, communicate and comprehend the English language
- Converse with co-workers and members of the general public, including customers
- Understand oral and written instructions as well as governmental regulations
- Respond to questions and inquiries from management and government representatives
- Accurately complete various documents, reports and records required of the position
Desired Qualifications
- Transportation, customer service, or related experience
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office
