Job Summary
Provide phone-based customer service to deposit customers of the bank, handling inquiries about deposit accounts, guiding customers to digital channels (VRU, mobile banking, internet banking), and identifying opportunities to refer customers to bank partners for additional products. Respond to inquiries professionally and resolve issues efficiently, coordinate with internal resources, maintain customer information security, and submit sales requests to inform business partners of sales opportunities. Requires completing tasks within the scope of authority and leveraging branch and banking standards; prior teller and customer service experience in banking or call center environments is preferred, with strong communication and organizational skills.
Required Qualifications
- High School diploma together with two years of banking experience
- Experience as a teller and customer service representative within a branch or in a call center environment supporting general deposit account inquiries
- Strong customer service, organizational, and communication skills
- Ability to prioritize tasks within defined responsibilities and apply bank and department policies and procedures
- Knowledge of and familiarity with account opening procedures, regulations including CIP
- Experience utilizing banking core processing systems for account opening and maintenance
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Access)
