Job Summary
Part-Time Custodial Cafeteria Worker responsibilities include assisting the day custodian with cafeteria cleaning, sweeping floors, wiping surfaces, setting up and cleaning tables after meals, managing trash and restroom cleanliness, cleaning classrooms and hallways, moving furniture with supervision, maintaining flexibility for special school functions, and performing related cleaning duties (including blood spill cleanup and carpet care) to support a clean school environment. The role is 4 hours per day and requires ability to lift up to 100 pounds, along with routine physical activity and adherence to safety and procedural guidelines.
Required Qualifications
- Equivalent to four years of high school or GED, with emphasis in office skills or related areas
- 0 to 6 months related experience and/or training
- Ability to read and understand manuals and procedures
- Ability to perform basic mathematical operations
- Ability to follow written or oral instructions
- Ability to work under general supervision with routine tasks
