Job Summary
CRNA to provide comprehensive anesthesia care as part of the anesthesia team. Responsibilities include collecting, reviewing, and evaluating patient data relevant to planned procedures; maintaining a safe environment and responding to emergencies; preparing and administering medications and fluids per safe practice standards; continuous monitoring of airway, depth of anesthesia, fluid status, and physiologic response to anesthesia; completing required documentation (surgical safety checklist, pre-operative assessment, intra-operative anesthetic record, and transfer-of-care note); and logging incidents in the computerized Safety Portal. Requires graduation from an accredited nurse anesthesia educational program and clinical privileges aligned with full-scope anesthesia practice.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of a nurse anesthesia educational program accredited by the Council on Accreditation of Nurse Anesthesia Educational Programs or its predecessor
