Job Summary
CRNA role providing anesthesia care within clinical privileges. Responsibilities include collecting, reviewing, and evaluating patient data pertinent to the planned procedure; maintaining a safe environment and responding to emergencies; preparing and administering medications and fluids per standards; monitoring airway, depth of anesthesia, fluids status, and physiological responses; completing required documentation (surgical safety checklist, pre-operative assessment, intra-operative anesthetic record, transfer-of-care note); logging incidents in the Safety Portal; and performing other duties as assigned. Education requires graduation from an accredited nurse anesthesia program.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of a nurse anesthesia educational program accredited by the Council on Accreditation of Nurse Anesthesia Educational Programs or its predecessor.
