Job Summary
CRNA provides anesthesia care in a hospital setting, performing responsibilities such as data collection on medical history, maintaining patient safety and airway management, administering medications and fluids per safe practice standards, monitoring anesthesia depth and physiologic responses, and completing required documentation (surgical safety checklist, pre-operative assessment, intra-operative anesthetic record, transfer-of-care notes). The role supports with continuous patient safety, a clinical privileges framework, and contributes to a high-quality anesthesia program within Cone Health, including opportunities for sign-on bonuses and substantial paid time off. The position is part-time with competitive benefits and tuition reimbursement, located in Charleston, WV.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of a nurse anesthesia educational program accredited by the Council on Accreditation of Nurse Anesthesia Educational Programs or its predecessor
- CRNA licensure or certification as required by state
- Completes required documentation including surgical safety checklist, pre-operative assessment, intra-operative anesthetic record, and transfer-of-care note
