Part-Time Cook

Cook and prepare food for residents, guests, and employees according to menus, recipes, and planned events. Plate items following portion guidelines and garnishing instructions while ensuring freshness, cooking status, and proper seasoning. Stock and clean stations between shifts, maintain universal precautions and fire/safety protocols, and monitor food rotation policies. Communicate with supervisors regarding shortages or outages and assist other kitchen staff as needed. Promote positive public relations with residents, families, and guests while upholding resident rights, privacy, and dignity in a safe environment. This part-time role includes shifts from 6am-2pm and 11am-7pm at StoryPoint Findnay, a senior living provider serving communities across the Midwest.
