Job Summary
A New Perspective Cook executes recipes, prepares the kitchen, and creates delicious and dietary meals for seniors; responsibilities include following corporate recipes, ensuring food safety and cleanliness, accommodating dietary restrictions, coordinating with front-of-house for proper service temperatures, assisting other cooks, and maintaining equipment sanitization, all while delivering high-quality meals under pressure and contributing to a positive resident experience.
Required Qualifications
- High School diploma / GED
- Cook: One (1) year cooking experience in a restaurant, health care or senior services setting
- Chef: Two (2) years cooking experience in a restaurant, health care or senior services setting or completed culinary training/certification or vocational training/certification in commercial food preparation
