Job Summary
Assists in receiving, storing, and labeling food supplies while using proper food handling techniques to prevent waste. Reviews menus, therapeutic recipes, and production sheets to prepare and serve diets accurately according to special diet orders. Tests and tastes all food for proper appearance, flavor, aroma, and temperature, adjusting as needed. Supervises staff when necessary to ensure quality products meet service requirements.
