Job Summary
Part-Time Cook in a healthcare kitchen environment responsible for quality and portion control, food preparation, creative presentation, kitchen maintenance, proper storage, and adherence to safe handling policies and recipes. Must have at least one year of culinary experience in a high-volume, scratch-cooking setting, solid knowledge of culinary methods, attention to detail, ability to operate various kitchen tools/equipment, and customer service experience. Onsite role with benefits in a healthcare facility as part of Cura Hospitality/Elior North America.
Required Qualifications
- At least one years’ prior culinary experience in a quality and high-volume establishment with an emphasis on scratch cooking
- Working knowledge of proper culinary methods, techniques, and standards
- Excellent attention to detail and the ability to perform multiple tasks in fast-paced environment
- Ability to use various kitchen equipment and tools as well as identify and differentiate food items
- Customer service experience is required
