Job Summary
Prepare all food items using standardized recipes for the Restaurant, Dining Outlet, Cafe, Room Service, Employee Cafeteria, and Banquets while maintaining high standards for an appealing product. Ensure kitchen and work area cleanliness, sanitation, and safety while minimizing waste and maximizing cost/production ratios. Complete necessary food and station preparations prior to opening, maintain post on the kitchen line during operating hours, and breakdown buffets and kitchen lines at the end of each meal period. Approach all encounters with guests and associates in a friendly service-oriented manner while adhering to Aimbridge Hospitality standards for personal appearance, grooming, and safe work habits.
Required Qualifications
- Weekends Required
- Food Handlers Certification (must comply with State requirements)
- Must be able to convey information and ideas clearly
- Must be able to evaluate and select among alternative courses of action quickly and/or accurately
- Must work well in stressful high pressure situations
Desired Qualifications
- High School diploma or equivalent and/or experience in a hotel or a related field preferred
