Job Summary
Part-Time Cook/Dietary Aide at a senior living community. Responsibilities include ensuring efficient, timely, and friendly service to residents and staff; maintaining sanitation and safety procedures; preparing and serving meals for breakfast, lunch, or dinner; reading and following recipes; assisting with inventory and meeting resident dining expectations; knowledge of dietary needs and meal preparation techniques; strong teamwork and communication skills; and following CAPLICO values. Must be able to perform short order cooking, be dependable and punctual, and obtain Serv-Safe certification if not already held.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of one year of cooking experience (some short order cooking)
- Serv-Safe certification, or willingness to obtain upon hire
- Knowledge of special dietary needs of residents and required meal prep techniques
- Ability to read and follow recipes
- Ability to work effectively with a team
- Dependable, punctual, self-motivated, and able to work without constant supervision
