Job Summary
Part-Time Cook at the Youth and Recreation Center: plan bi-weekly menus, prepare healthy daily meals and snacks for children and youth, maintain kitchen cleanliness, follow safe food handling practices, assist with supervision during mealtimes, manage groceries and inventory, and complete administrative tasks as directed. Must have Food Safe Certification, First Aid & CPR/AED, and a criminal record/child intervention check. Strong communication, ability to work independently and in a team, and knowledge of dietary restrictions are essential; experience with youth and families is beneficial; knowledge of Cold Lake First Nation culture is an asset.
Required Qualifications
- Food Safe Certification required
- Minimum 2 years of cooking experience
- Valid First Aid & CPR/AED Certification
- Satisfactory Criminal Record Check and Child Intervention Check
