Job Summary
Provide one-on-one skill-building interventions and support for developmentally disabled adults in varied locations throughout Cumberland County. Build rapport, establish shared responsibility, and assist clients with setting goals for academic and personal success. Contribute to community-based activities and programs while completing all necessary documentation and required training. Serve as a positive role model, offering practical problem-solving and open communication without judgment. Work weekends in the mornings and second shift, 20 hours per week, in Williamstown, NJ.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma/GED or higher education degree
- Six months of previous professional work experience with a person with a developmental disability
- Valid driver's license in good standing (under 5 points)
- Valid car insurance
- Pre-employment drug screening
- Cooperation with Premier Behavioral Supports and The Department of Human Services in all inspections and investigations
- Availability for Weekends - Mornings and 2nd Shift
Desired Qualifications
- CPR/First Aid certified
- Behavior management: 1 year
