Job Summary
Provide one-on-one skill-building interventions and support for developmentally disabled adults in Burlington, Camden, Cumberland, and Gloucester counties. Build rapport with clients to develop adaptive coping skills, establish educational and vocational goals, and foster self-esteem while communicating openly without judgment. Contribute to and implement community-based activities and programs across varied locations throughout Cumberland County. Complete all necessary documentation and required training by the due date. Work 20 hours per week on Saturday mornings in Millville, NJ, with a preference for CPR/First Aid certification and one year of behavior management experience.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma/GED or higher education degree
- Six months of previous professional work experience with a person with a developmental disability
- Valid driver's license in good standing (under 5 points)
- Valid car insurance
- Pre-employment drug screening
Desired Qualifications
- CPR/First Aid certified
- Behavior management: 1 year
