Job Summary
Promote the MNVL Resource Center services among residents and refer individuals to Program Coordinators and Case Managers. Track outcomes, report metrics, and collaborate on marketing efforts to engage residents in workshops, fairs, and focus groups. Organize on- and off-site activities, secure resources, and represent the center at tabling events, Community Board meetings, and local CBO events. Meet with tenant association leaders, attend staff and case conferences, and contribute to special projects as needed. Work Monday through Friday from 10:00 am to 2:00 pm, with occasional evening, weekend, or late-night hours based on programming needs.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma
- 1-2 years' experience working with diverse and underserved populations
- Bilingual English/Spanish
- Knowledge of government benefits
- Ability to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment
- Strong Communication skills
- Team player
- Proficient in Microsoft Office programs, especially Outlook, Word, Excel
- Able to use or learn electronic databases such as Single Stop
- Occasional lifting of up to 30lbs
- Frequent walking and standing
- Ability to work outdoors
- Monday-Friday Part time position
- Occasional evening/weekend hours
