Job Summary
Teach undergraduate and graduate Professional Development courses, facilitate workshops, and mentor students in arts administration and nonprofit leadership. Manage the Conservatory in Schools program operations, coordinate K–12 school partnerships, and recruit student teaching artists. Cultivate relationships with arts organizations and community groups throughout the Bay Area while representing the institution at professional gatherings. Support the Professional Development & Engagement Center team with program initiatives, data collection, and administrative functions. This part-time role involves approximately 15 hours per week with a flexible schedule including occasional evenings and weekends.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree
- Master's degree in Arts Administration, Education, Music, Community Engagement, Nonprofit Management, or a related field
- Experience working in arts education, community engagement, higher education, nonprofit arts organizations, or related sectors
- Demonstrated experience managing programs, projects, or partnerships
- Experience teaching, facilitating workshops, or mentoring students
- Strong organizational and project management skills
- Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills
Desired Qualifications
- Master's degree preferred in Arts Administration, Education, Music, Community Engagement, Nonprofit Management, or a related field
- Existing connections within the Bay Area arts, education, and nonprofit communities
- Knowledge of experiential learning, internship programs, and community-engaged arts practices
