Job Summary
Part-Time Community Banking Associate at Journey Bank supporting paying and receiving functions at the Montoursville Community Branch. Responsibilities include greeting and serving customers, accepting deposits and payments, selling treasurer checks and money orders, processing night and mail deposits, identifying new business opportunities, and supporting compliance with Bank Secrecy Act, CRA, and ECOA policies. Requires high school diploma or equivalent; banking education or training encouraged; prior banking/customer service experience preferred; strong reading/writing/grammar, analytical and mathematical skills; excellent communication and interpersonal skills; ability to operate office machines and lift ~50 lbs. Hours are 25-29 per week, on-site at Montoursville, with some Saturdays; includes competitive compensation and benefits package and contingent criminal/credit/drug checks.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; specialized banking education or training
- Previous banking experience including customer service preferred
- Moderate reading, writing and grammar skills; analytical and mathematical skills
- Proficient communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficient eye-hand coordination
- Ability to operate various office machines
- Ability to lift approximately 50 lbs
