Job Summary
Part-time Collections Specialist at Blast Cleaning Technologies, responsible for collections outreach via phone and email; maintain detailed collection notes and account records; monitor aging and prioritize delinquent accounts; resolve payment issues, disputes, and discrepancies; escalate high-risk accounts; coordinate with internal teams to address billing concerns; perform billing checks to ensure invoicing accuracy and proper application of down payments; provide regular updates on collections status and cash flow impact; support basic AR reporting and administrative tasks for the Finance team; requires strong communication and negotiation skills, excellent organization, and proficiency in Excel and Outlook. Education in Accounting/Finance preferred and 1–3 years of collections/AR experience preferred; located in West Allis, WI.
Required Qualifications
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred
- 1–3 years of experience in collections, AR, or general accounting preferred
- Understanding of project billing is preferred
- Working knowledge of Accounts Receivable and collections processes
