Job Summary
Part-Time Coaching Position(s) in Darlington County Schools for middle/high school athletes. Demonstrate a visible commitment to student athletes, community, and instructional leadership while promoting positive character and school spirit. Bring experience and innovative ideas in and out of season (in compliance with SC High School League regulations) for program development, motivate and relate to high school students on and off the field, maintain high energy, and collaborate effectively with others. An online application packet including the Coaching Application, three references, a copy of teaching certificate (if applicable), and a résumé is required prior to the posted deadline; incomplete submissions render the applicant ineligible. The District reserves the right to extend the deadline without notice.
Required Qualifications
- Valid South Carolina teaching credential preferred
- Strong communication and leadership skills
- Experience at the middle or high school level in motivating and developing a championship level program
- Such alternatives to the above qualifications as the Board may find appropriate and acceptable
- FLSA Status: Exempt
