Job Summary
Conduct on-demand clinical consultations via the Walrus mobile app, delivering tailored care plans through real-time symptom tracking and AI-identified prompts. Engage directly with members to build trust while collaborating cross-functionally on clinical and strategic initiatives. Participate in client and prospect calls as needed and provide clinical coverage outside standard business hours when required. Requires a PharmD, active Illinois and multi-state licensure, and PGY-1 or PGY-2 residency completion. $50-$70 per hour.
Required Qualifications
- Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) or equivalent advanced degree
- Active pharmacist license in good standing in Illinois and at least one additional U.S. state
- Must reside and be authorized to work in a U.S. state
- Completion of an accredited residency program (PGY-1 or PGY-2)
- 2+ years experience working directly with patients and healthcare providers
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and make sound judgments
- Possess strong verbal, listening and written communication skills
- Proficiency with computers, including familiarity with databases and reporting tools
- In-depth knowledge of drug administration and disease state management
- Demonstrated ability to deliver high-quality, direct patient care
- Comfortable working in a remote environment
- willing to travel as needed
Desired Qualifications
- Multi-state pharmacist licensure
- Experience working in digital health with virtual care platforms
- Board Certification in Ambulatory Care Pharmacy (BCACP) or equivalent certification
