Job Summary
Part-Time Clinical Nursing Faculty to teach in the BSN program in Oklahoma City. Responsibilities include implementing the college’s philosophy and curriculum in clinical teaching, providing direct supervision and evaluation of nursing students in inpatient settings, developing and posting clinical assignments aligned with student knowledge and skill levels, providing remediation as needed, and collaborating with the course coordinator and college administration to improve student outcomes. Requires a Master’s (or doctoral) degree in Nursing, an active Oklahoma RN license (Illinois license required for teaching all courses), and a current BLS certification. The schedule supports 8-week sessions with typically 3-4 consecutive 12-hour shifts per session; positions are contingent on course need and availability. Compensation is provided per assignment, with the organization indicating potential future opportunities.
Required Qualifications
- Master's degree in Nursing from a regionally accredited college or university
- Unencumbered professional RN nursing license in Oklahoma
- Illinois RN License required to teach all courses
- Active BLS certification (AHA, Red Cross, or Military Training Network)
- At least two years professional experience within last five years in the area of instruction as a registered nurse
