Job Summary
Maintain accurate cash drawer records and handle customer transactions at the teller window while ensuring compliance with bank regulations and security protocols. Provide exceptional service to internal and external customers, meet referral and branch profitability goals, and complete all required training and assessments. Follow confidentiality guidelines, manage basic account maintenance, and assist with ATM operations and end-of-day procedures. Maintain a neat work area and achieve service standards to qualify for advancement to Client Service Representative II within 9-12 months.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
- Six months related sales or banking experience
- Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence and memos
- Ability to write simple correspondence
- Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers and other employees of the organization
- Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals
- Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions
- Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations
- Ability to perform basic computer skills and operate computer programs
- Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel
