Job Summary
Build relationships with customers through in-person, appointment, and virtual channels to provide counsel on banking needs and available deposit and loan products. Greet clients, process basic transactions, and open new consumer and business accounts while submitting credit applications. Proactively educate clients on emerging digital products and self-service technologies to assist with financial goals. Maintain a working knowledge of consumer and business banking services and collaborate with branch team members to optimize the client experience. Requires NMLS registration under the S.A.F.E. Act of 2008 and Regulation Z, including a criminal background and credit check. Full-time or part-time availability required.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- National Mortgage Licensing System (NMLS) registration under the terms of the S.A.F.E. Act of 2008 and Regulation Z
- Satisfactory criminal and credit record
- Minimum three to four years of job-related, retail banking experience or a combination of experience and commensurate training
- Ability to comply with U.S. Bank policies and procedures including the Code of Ethics and Business Conduct and related workplace conduct and safety policies

- Ability to effectively engage and communicate with clients
- Thorough knowledge of applicable bank and branch policies, procedures and support systems
- Proven customer service and interpersonal skills

- Ability to explore and identify a customer's true needs while leveraging a digital first mindset
- Demonstrated basic level of proficiency in making appropriate recommendations that meet customer's needs both reactively and proactively
- Experience in the financial services industry
