Job Summary
Perform routine janitorial services at assigned locations, sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and disinfecting floors, restrooms, break rooms, and offices to maintain a clean, safe, and sanitary environment. Replenish facility supplies, operate cleaning equipment safely, and report maintenance concerns or hazards to the supervisor. Complete assigned checklists, maintain janitorial closets, and ensure emergency exits and walkways remain clear while following all safety policies and PPE requirements. Travel to assigned work locations in warehouse, retail, or distribution settings, including night shifts, and communicate daily assignments with supervisors and team members.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Ability to follow written and verbal instructions
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
- Reliable, dependable, and able to work independently or as part of a team
- Must be able to work night shifts
- Must be able to travel to assigned work locations
- Must be willing to work varying shifts based on business needs
- Hearing and vision sufficient to safely perform job duties
- Ability to safely operate cleaning equipment, including floor scrubbers, buffers, pallet jacks, and other equipment as required
- Continually required to stand, walk, bend, stoop, kneel, and reach throughout the shift
- Frequently lift, carry, push, or pull up to 50 pounds
Desired Qualifications
- Previous janitorial, custodial, housekeeping, or commercial cleaning experience
- Bilingual in English and Spanish
