Job Summary
Part-Time CDL Driver responsible for operating small-to large-sized trucks with trailers to transport liquid dairy ingredients and materials. Maintain valid permits for interstate/intrastate commerce; operate within an assigned farm producer area. Shifts vary between 6:00 AM–6:00 PM with potential for more hours during PTO coverage. May be assigned to production during slower periods. Essential duties include safe operation, following GMPs, safety and sanitation plans, identifying non-conforming product/equipment, and collaborating with a team; physical effort includes frequent movement and working in varying temperature zones; schedule may include holidays and weekends; employment at Land O'Lakes with multiple benefits and support information.
Required Qualifications
- 18 years or older
- Basic computer skills
- Ability to read, write, comprehend, follow verbal and written instructions, and possess basic mathematical skills
- Current driver’s license
- Class A Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) with tanker endorsement (or ability to attain)
- Ability to communicate and work effectively with team members and farm producers
