Job Summary
Part Time Church Distribution Supervisor in Costa Mesa, CA overseeing store operations and customer service for Deseret Book’s retail store. Responsibilities include supervising, training, and motivating store associates; assigning tasks and following up for timely completion; assisting customers with product usage and fit; operating cash registers; stocking and merchandising; opening/closing duties; and maintaining store appearance. Required skills include strong customer service and sales ability, retail experience, knowledge of LDS curriculum and Deseret Book products preferred, and ability to coach a team. BFOQ requirements apply.
Required Qualifications
- BFOQ – Must be a female who has received her own personal endowments and possesses a current temple recommend.
- 1 year of Distribution Services, Deseret Book or other retail experience required.
- Knowledge of LDS Church curriculum and clothing products preferred.
- Knowledge of Deseret Book products, policies, and procedures preferred.
- Ability to cooperate with customers and store associates; cash handling and sales skills.
- Ability to coach and lead store associates.
- Ability to stand for long periods and regularly lift 30-40 lbs.
