Job Summary
Implement an integrated curriculum and create a warm, engaging environment that encourages hands-on learning, exploration, and growth for children ages 6 weeks to 6 years. Establish and maintain a safe, healthy day care environment through room organization, snack implementation, and strict adherence to state licensing regulations and OSHA standards. Provide positive guidance while supervising children, supporting volunteers, and ensuring smooth transitions between activities. Work Monday through Friday with flexible shifts alongside a Lead Teacher, attending required staff meetings and trainings. Complete a physician-signed health examination and fingerprint background check prior to employment.
Required Qualifications
- Position requires meeting the qualifications for assistant teacher under DCF 251 Licensing Rules for Group Day Care Centers

- Must be at least 18 years of age
- completed high school or its equivalent
