Job Summary
Provide direct nursing care and supervision to clients, monitoring and documenting their physical and mental condition while administering and documenting medications as prescribed. Maintain accurate medical records, support the admission process to ensure timely placement, and participate in treatment team meetings and shift reports. Respond promptly to incidents or unusual occurrences while ensuring quality client care and compliance with facility standards. Work Saturdays from 6pm to 6:30am with a $2 shift differential. Serve children and youth ages 5-17 in a 16-bed inpatient psychiatric facility, supporting intensive treatment programs and individualized care plans.
Required Qualifications
- Graduation from an accredited school of registered nursing
- One (1) year medication administration experience
- One (1) year experience with seriously emotionally disturbed adolescents, in an inpatient health care setting
- One (1) year leadership or supervisory experience
Desired Qualifications
- Associate degree or bachelor's degree in nursing
